The celebration I have chosen to write about it “Mikolajki“- “St. Nicholas’s Day“. Polish people celebration this tradition. St Nicholas’s Day is a celebration on 6 December. Santa Claus (actually a person dressed up as him) brings gifts to children. On the night of December 5 to December 6 parents plant the gifts under the pillow, in the boot or in a large sock.

When I was seven years old I had dog for this celebration.

A feast was established in honour of Bishop Nicholas of Myra, this is associated  with Christmas. This day is very popular in Poland.

I celebrate this tradition in primary in Poland with my friends.

Thank you.
